About the assignment

At Libera, we assist our client in finding the right candidate for the role of Working Foreman with responsibility as Andon Coach in the machine workshop. This is a hire-purchase service, which means that you will initially work through us in staffing and then transition to employment with the client. The role is combined, approximately 60/40 between administrative tasks and operational work in production.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of valve and flow solutions for the industry, located just outside Norrköping. They deliver high-quality products to customers in sectors such as process, energy, and water industries, and continuously work on innovation and improvements to ensure reliable solutions.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Working Foreman who will lead, plan, and participate in the daily work within CNC machining. You will ensure that manufacturing orders follow the schedule, that quality is maintained, and that production develops through continuous improvements. You will be a key person in driving both people and processes forward.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and distribute work within the machine workshop.
• Ensure that manufacturing orders are delivered on time according to the schedule.
• Develop staff competencies and contribute to a good working environment according to the company's values.
• Maintain order and cleanliness and drive improvement work within the machine department.
• Participate in operational work as needed.
• Be responsible for planning vacations in consultation with the production manager.
• Act as Andon Coach according to the job description.
• Lead morning meetings with team leaders.
• Daily reporting to the production manager.
• Conduct development and salary discussions with machine operators.
• Participate in recruitment together with the production manager.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is a confident leader with good technical understanding and a practical approach. You enjoy being close to the operations and are motivated by seeing both people and processes develop.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in CNC machining and machine programming.
• Experience in leadership within production.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM and control systems such as Siemens 840D and Mazatrol.
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings.
• Forklift license.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to build trust.
• A service-oriented and proactive working style.

The position

The position is located within production and you will report to the production manager. You will start through us at Libera, with the intention to transition to direct employment with the client.
